These Is My Words, This Was Our Party!

Last night was our June book club meeting. We met at Cathy's and had yummy snacks and so much fun. Everyone seemed to enjoy "These Is My Words." We loved the love story of Sarah and Jack, Sarah's strong personality, and the honest and funny journal-like writing style. Lots of our members were inspired to keep better more detailed journals just like Sarah Prine!

Shelley handed out July's book, "The Holy Secret," by James Ferrell. Ferell wrote "The Peacegiver," which everyone really loved. Shelley will be hosting book club at the end of July, and Jewell will be introducing her selection for September.

Rachelle introduced the book for August, "Gift from the Sea," by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. It is in it's 50th anniversary, a book of metaphor and healing to inspire every woman. Rachelle will be hosting book club at the end of August, and Yadira will be introducing her selection for October.

Another Success!

Another great meeting! We met at Shauna's and again had a wonderful potluck lunch. It was so fun to hear everyone's experiences with "A New Earth." It had a great effect on everyone who read it. It tied in to the Gospel principles that we all know to be true. I am sure we are all better people because we read the book. Thanks Shauna!

Cathy introduced the next book "These is My Words." It looks like a great read!

A New Earth

Our bookclub meeting was a great success! We had a super discussion about the "21 Days Closer to Christ" everyone enjoyed the book and had great comments to share. The luncheon was potluck and was yummy! Many brought recipes that will be in the upcoming Dublan cookbook. Shauna introduced our new book for April, "A New Earth." We will be meeting on the last Friday of each month. This was a great begining for our bookclub! Great job Meredith!

Lunch Meeting

Our meeting is scheduled for Friday at 12:30 at Meredith's house. It will be a potluck so bring something to share. We will have an introduction for our new book! See you there!
